March 20, 2020
Hello Students and Parents,
It has been a whirlwind of a week! I am so thankful to you all for your patience and perseverance throughout what is, at the moment, our school’s and our country’s “new normal”, social distancing.
Thank you to all of the students who were able to complete this week's tasks! Using Seesaw, I was able to provide direct feedback to many of you and I was very impressed by your efforts! If you were not able to complete your work because you do not have access to technology, do not worry. Please pick up a learning packet located in a plastic bin at the front entrance of WPACES.
Next week, I will begin teaching using a video conferencing tool called Zoom. Twice a week, I will teach one day of Math and one day of English. At the moment, I will teach Math on Tuesday's and English on Thursday's. If these days change, I will let you know. If your student is not available to attend the live sessions, they can watch the recorded session at their convenience. I will provide a link on my WPACES page that will give you access to the recorded session. The live link and the recorded link will be different. I will post the link to the recorded class after 12p.m. We will have a test run on Monday. Please check Seesaw for information.
Please click Week 2 March 23-27 to see the learning objectives for the week for Math and English. English objectives will be up by Sunday. Please make sure students watch videos and complete Study Island activities everyday. The deadline to complete all assignments will be by Friday 11:59 p.m. Please do not hesitate to communicate any issues you have prior to the deadline.
Thank you all again for your positivity and commitment to setting your students up for success!
