West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School is seeking a Physical Education teacher to join our professional community. This position is responsible for creating a classroom environment that fosters, promotes, and develops an understanding of the relationship between healthy body function and exercise, motivates each student to cultivate physical fitness, discovers and develop the talent of students in physical achievement, and strengthens students’ skills, agility, poise, and coordination as individuals and as a part of a team. The physical education teacher will oversee activities and sports in concert with other staff members.
